A Production Assistant is the entry position that starts you on a career in the motion picture or television business.  Many successful executives, directors and producers started as Production Assistants.  As a Set P.A., you will learn the physical production that goes into creating a show, which is invaluable knowledge to have as you move up through the ranks.

Our mission at P.A. BOOTCAMP is to thoroughly train people so they succeed on the job from day one.  We instruct our "campers" to show up ready to perform their job efficiently, capably and with the right attitude, so that they will be assets to any A.D. team.  We want them to quickly start building the career they choose.

You will learn:
--What it takes to be a top-notch Set or Office Production Assistant. (Not as simple as you think!)
--Everything you NEED TO KNOW on the job. (A lot more than "going for coffee"!)
--How to get hired and rehired.  (Easy to get fired. We help you keep the job!)

P.A. BOOTCAMP is taught in a two-day intensive training program with one instructor and a maximum of 8 "campers". We frequently have guest speakers from a variety of production crew and production office jobs. The course is held outdoors in a Los Angeles area park, which is one environment P.A.s should get used to.
