Recent Producer Email

"A couple of months ago, I contacted you to ask about a list of PAs that graduated from your program. You responded immediately and sent me a list of all your recent graduates. I contacted some and finally selected Phil G. as one of the PAs on my production. I am happy to report that the entire crew is an awe of Phil. I've never worked with a PA who was so dedicated, prompt, quick and courteous. One quality that Phil has that I have yet to see in any PA (even in many other crew members amongst the other departments actually) is the ability to anticipate. He anticipated things that would be needed before I said a word. He never complained even when we worked long hours and had him running around all over town. He did things without being asked. He was extremely reliable to the point where I trusted him with a production credit card. Phil impressed me so much the first couple of hours on set that I just gave him my keys and had to ask for his permission to get them when I needed them. That's how reliable he was. He listens and executes with military precision. I cannot sing his praises enough. I have already forwarded his contact information to friends and colleagues who are producers for their future projects. I just wanted to thank you for your good work and for giving me this young man's contact information. Phil was an invaluable member of the production team. The director of this project is very hard to please, but on our last day of shoot he could not stop praising Phil and even gave him a little more than we'd promised him. Thank you so much!!!" -Martine Jean

"Two years ago I moved to L.A. from Virginia.  I knew I wanted to work in the industry but I didn't know how to get started.  I went to the internet and found the P.A. Bootcamp website.  After searching their site I signed up for the two-day intensive course.  After spending those days with my instructor and learning much more than I anticipated I felt I was properly prepared to work on any set.  Soon after graduating I found myself on my first job with all the tools necessary to succeed. If someone is interested in working as a PA, this course is a great way to learn everything that will get you started.  I would recommend P.A. Bootcamp to anyone.
Since P.A. Bootcamp I have worked on:Prison Break,The Unit,Without A Trace,Mother & Child,Fast & Furious - Reshoots,Takers
Seven Pounds,Valkryie - Additional Photography,Outnumbered - Pilot,The Stepfather,The Post Grad Survival Guide,The Human Contract
Journeyman" -Phil Banks

I wanted to write to give my commentary on PA Bootcamp. From the first point of contact, right on through to the end of the amazing training, everyone was ultra professional and honest and up front. I really apreciated that.
In regards to the training, it was indeed an in your face, no nonsense approach that I REALLY appreciated. Life is too short for fooling around, especially with my career, to have done it any other way. The instructors were clear and precise, current and up to date, and I gained an extensive knowledge first hand that I would never have gotten anywhere else. From lingo and jargen, equipment, and responsibilities, PA Bootcamp covered it all. In just TWO DAYS!! It was awesome!!
Had I not taken the course and gotten a job as a P A, I would have made a fool of myself. PA Bootcamp taught me literally EVERYTHING I needed to know to walk onto a set with the utmost of confidence that I knew exactly what I was doing. And I have already worked on two feature films for a few days here, and a few days there and did an amazing job. How exciting is that!!
I can't thank the staff and crew at PA Bootcamp enough for giving me the training and knowledge that I have been wanting to get for many years. My life action career is on its way to greater heights thanks to PA Bootcamp.
Sincerely, Raymond I. Hollywood, CA

Hello to all out there reading this and wondering "should I sign up?"I have gotten called by many people from the list of grads that you send out to productions in need of P.A.'s, which is great. I worked on Race to Witch Mountain, The Hangover, Last Comic Standing, and Dancing with the Stars. I have also worked on 2 new reality shows that will be out later this year. One is called Raising Sextuplets and the other is Running Wild from Ted Nugent, in which I worked as a 2nd 2nd AD on location in TX. Couldn't have done it with out you guys ;)           -Holly Titchen
